Kristen Stewart Dirty Dances In The UK Trailer For On The Road

It’s getting close to that time of the year when Twilight will be invading filmland but before then Bella has film where she does a ‘dirty’ not the cheating on her boyfriend R-Pattz but Kristen Stewart Dirty Dances In The UK Trailer for On The Road. Despite having a official release date here in the UK for sometime, it’s taken 5 months for the UK version of the trailer appear as it was March since we had the U.S trailer which the film still doesn’t have a release date.
The new trailer is a mixture of footage we saw in the first trailer mixed in with new snippets of footage and the early part of the trailer you really get a feel of the energy of the film before slowing down getting an appreciation of the characters as well as the overall story.Garrett Hedlund in the past may have not come across as a decent actor but what I’ve seen of him as Dean Moriarty is impressive and will go a long way to mending his reputation as a young actor to look out for. Miss Stewart maybe in the bad books with every female Twihard in the universe with her recent actions but her role as Marylou (which is minor in the book but major in the film) will be her true test that she can live outside the teen vampire sub genre.
Based on on the classic Jack Kerouac novel when Allen Ginsberg was the poet of the beat generation, On The Road was the novel they worshipped. It’s a book that’s been crying out for a adaptation and Francis Ford Copolla bought the rights for the book all the way back in 1970 but now 42 years on Walter Salles who will bring the film to life. It’s a book that re defined American pop culture and even today the influence and power of Kerouac’s name is still inspiration to many who the era well so here’s hoping the wait is worth it, with Salles directing who directed the Motorcycle Diaries we faith he’ll deliver.
Co-starring Sam Riley, Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, Terrence Howard, Tom Sturridge, Danny Morgan, Alice Braga, Steve Buscemi and Elisabeth Moss. On The Road will be released in UK&Ireland 12th October.
