You Know His Name, This Is His Trailer…Jason Bourne

You know his name, now he knows everything now but who is Jason Bourne now at war with? Does he still have  enemies he rages war, ones who made him a weapon? Behold the first UK trailer for Jason Bourne we learn that ing everything doesn’t mean you know everything!

It took a long time for it to happen there was even a time we believed it wouldn’t happen.But now this Summer Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass are both back in the franchise they both helped to create after 9 years away!

There’s no proper synopsis yet for the film, but looking at this trailer Sin City Las Vegas becomes explosive city and Jason let’s rip down the strip and a unique way of getting into a casino.The trailer doesn’t give too much away on the plot apart from Jason ‘volunteered’ thanks to a ‘lie.

Matt Damon himself has said in recent interviews – “Without giving too much of it away, it’s Bourne through an austerity-riddled Europe and in a post-Snowden world. It seems like enough has changed, you know? There are all these kinds of arguments about spying and civil liberties and the nature of democracy.”

Paul Greengrass also said “Jason Bourne isn’t a super hero; he doesn’t wear a cape or a mask. He’s not one of those kinds of guys. He is just an ordinary man. I think when people watch Jason Bourne they can imagine how they might react in those situations and those circumstances, and when you see him thinking his way through and coming up with a plan and executing his plan, that’s incredibly exciting.It has taken us a long time to come back because we didn’t have the right story before. The world needed to change and then there comes that moment when it makes sense. You know when it feels right and that’s when you do it, not before.”

The main draw is Matt Damon as Bourne again with Julia Styles returning to the franchise as Nicky Parsons, will we see Joan Allen in a future trailer as she is meant to have some part in the film? Vincent Cassel who looks to be the ‘villain’ attempting to silence Bourne. Tommy Lee Jones looks like he is the new CIA boss who maybe more like a Brian Cox character who knows ‘EVERYTHING’. Taking the Post Snowden and current political climate as the basis is a good move and most of all the right time for the return of some Bourne style ass kicking!
