Kate Beckinsale ‘Cranks’ It Up In Jolt Official Trailer!
She is no stranger to the action genre, Kate Beckinsale is returning to that genre next month with Jolt. Today Amazon unveil the film’s official Trailer which showcases as she ‘cranks’ things up ala The Stath.
If you were looking for an Atomic Blonde sequel this could be the closest thing to it, with a comedic tone. Tanya Wexler (Hysteria, Buffaloed) directs and we follow Lindy a woman with some serious anger management issues. She seems to get some murderous impulses and the only to stop them is to shock herself. But will it curb her homicidal thirsts?
This looks awesome, violent and funny in a dark way, here hoping it ticks all the boxes…

Lindy is a beautiful, sardonically-funny woman with a painful secret: Due to a lifelong, rare neurological disorder, she experiences sporadic rage-filled, murderous impulses that can only be stopped when she shocks herself with a special electrode device. Unable to find love and connection in a world that fears her bizarre condition, she finally trusts a man long enough to fall in love, only to find him murdered the next day. Heartbroken and enraged, she embarks on a revenge-filled mission to find his killer, while also being pursued by the police as the crime’s prime suspect.
The film co- stars Bobby Cannavale, Jai Courtney, Laverne Cox, David Bradley, Ori Pfeffer, Susan Sarandon, and Stanley Tucci. With Tanya Wexler (Hysteria) directing this one.
Jolt will be exclusively released on Amazon Prime Video from 23rd July.
