Justice League New Trailer Centres On Wonder Woman, Teases Mysterious Superhero

After the critical success of her solo movie last month it seems Wonder Woman is taking centre stage in the new Justice League trailer. Entitled ‘Comic Con Sneak Peek‘ the 4 minute (UK) trailer we get to see the team working together in action rather than the previous trailer which introduced the JL . The big highlight will be the first chance to meet the movie’s villain, Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons. The big tease is right at the end of the promo, who is the mysterious character that Alfred (Jeremy Irons) is talking to ‘He said you would come’? Superman?
Whilst the previous trailer establishes the JL, this trailer does a solid job of laying the foundations of the movie’s storyline. The colour scheme is a lot more vibrant largely thanks to Joss Wheadon stepping in to finish off the movie after the tragedy that recently struck Zack Snyder‘s family. The tone has changed too, you could say sliding towards a more offbeat fun tone as seen in the early Avengers movies. The big question is, will Justice League help rebuild DCEU in the way Wonder Woman has?
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) —it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
