Formerly Don Jon’s Addiction Gordon Levitt stars as Don a man obsessed with his appearance even bigger problem with internet porn.Even pulling the girl of his dreams Barbara Sugarman (Scarlett Johansson) he still cant go 5 minutes looking on the internet at the internet buxoms.

It may not be what you would expect JGL to have as his directorial debut however after a successful premier at this years Sundance film festival all is well and now the film is ready for the wider look. Despite the setting of the film been a man who likes his porn Don Jon does have plenty of charm to go around. The trailer capture the tone and style of the film really well and  for a young actor whose transcended from television to film not that long ago he’s crafted a film really well. No ones perfect JGL captures the situation really in regards to someone with an addiction really without loosing any of his romantic values. Like any addict they try pin negatives on the person whose trying to help and Barbara loves her rom-coms  but thats an addiction that less damaging  than porn!

Don Jon is set for 15th November 2013 UK release date, the film also stars Julianne Moore, Tony Danza and Rob Brown.

Synopsis:

Jon Martello (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a strong, handsome, good old fashioned guy.  His buddies call him Don Jon due to his ability to “pull” a different woman every weekend, but even the finest fling doesn’t compare to the bliss he finds alone in front of the computer watching pornography.  Barbara Sugarman (Scarlett Johansson) is a bright, beautiful, good old fashioned girl.  Raised on romantic Hollywood movies, she’s determined to find her Prince Charming and ride off into the sunset.  Wrestling with good old fashioned expectations of the opposite sex, Jon and Barbara struggle against a media culture full of false fantasies to try and find true intimacy in this unexpected comedy written and directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
