Jason Momoa Stars In Netflix’s Sweet Girl Watch Trailer

You would think people would learn when it comes to action thrillers, don’t mess with Jason Momoa, you’ll come off second best possibly six foot under. In Netflix’s thriller Sweet Girl he takes on the big pharmaceutical as he defends the very last he has in his life, his daughter.

Tonight the streaming giants have shared the film’s official Trailer which stars Isabela Merced as his characters daughter. In this one he plays a devastated husband who vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife’s death while protecting the only family he has left, his daughter (Merced).

Brian Andrew Mendoza directs this this film which is his feature length debut. Mendoza is no stranger to Momoa’s films as he produced 3 of his films Road To Paloma, Frontier and Braven. Ill have to it this film doesn’t cry out anything highly original, it’s doesn’t mean it will be a bad film. If anything Netflix is perfect platform for the film and deliver a couple of hours of escapism…

Devoted family man Ray Cooper, vows justice against the pharmaceutical company responsible for pulling a potentially life-saving drug from the market just before his wife (Adria Arjona) dies from cancer. But when his search for the truth leads to a deadly encounter that puts Ray and his daughter Rachel (Isabela Merced) in harm’s way, Ray’s mission turns into a quest for vengeance in order to protect the only family he has left. SWEET GIRL is directed by Brian Andrew Mendoza and stars Justin Bartha, Amy Brenneman, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Raza Jaffrey, Lex Scott Davis and Michael Raymond-James.

The cast also includes Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Adria Arjona, Raza Jaffrey, Justin Bartha, Lex Scott Davis, Amy Brenneman, and Michael Raymond-James.

Sweet Girl will arrive on Netflix from 20th August.
