It’s So ‘Sweet’ For Wonka At Official Film Chart Number One!

Things can be sweet at the top like for Wonka, which earns a second week as the UK’s Number 1 film as it more than doubles the sales of its closest competition.
Timothee Chalamet’s turn as the eccentric chocolatier in this prequel to the events of Roald Dahl’s Charlie & The Chocolate Factory once again tops the Official Film Chart on digital s only.
Disney’s latest musical fantasy Wish also holds on to its position from last week, twinkling at Number 2 for a second week.
The biggest release on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD this week is Five Nights at Freddy’s (3) which jumps three following its release on physical formats. The video game adaptation starring Josh Hutcherson previously peaked at Number 2 on its original release in December.
Trolls Band Together holds strong at Number 4, while The Marvels drops two to Number 5. Oppenheimer claims its 11th consecutive week in the Top 10 as it finishes at Number 6 this week, just ahead of is ‘Barbenheimer’ counterpart Barbie at Number 7.
Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie bounces back up four places to Number 8, while multi-Oscar nominee Killers of the Flower Moon holds its place at Number 9. Rounding out proceedings at Number 10 is former chart-topper The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
