We love cosmic horror, Blue Finch Films next month has a treat for us. Paul Duane’s Irish indie folk horror All You Need Is Death will be released in UK Cinemas, now we get a look at the UK Trailer... things get cosmic!

The film marks the Dublin based director’s feature film debut. It stars Olwen Fouéré, Charlie Maher, Simone Collins and Gary Whelan. We follow an young couple who head into rural Ireland, collecting music from forbidden knowledge and power contained. They meet a old woman who sings them opening a portal to ancient evil.

Our horror editor Bradley Hadcroft watched this film at Pigeon Shrine FrightFest Glasgow earlier this month. Bradley gave the film 4 stars – “All You Need Is Death is a hypnotically gripping invitation to embrace this irable ethos. A unique and nightmarish horror gem that subverts and perverts the foundations of erotic ion and human affection“.

Blending Irish folklore and musical traditions with nerve-wracking horror, Paul Duane’s masterful debut feature All You Need Is Death is one of the most unique and unsettling films of the year.

A young couple on a journey for dark, forbidden knowledge travel rural Ireland to record and collect songs, believing that the secret to modern alchemy is contained within them. But when they meet an older, mysterious woman who sings songs that have never been heard before, they open the door to a powerful, ancient evil.

From writer and director Paul Duane (Very Extremely Dangerous, While You Live, Shine), All You Need Is Death stars Olwen Fouéré (The Northman, Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Charlie Maher, Simone Collins (The Last Duel) and Gary Whelan (Dracula Untold). All You Need Is Death has screened at Beyond Fest, Sitges Film Festival and Glasgow FrightFest.

All You Need Is Death will in UK and Irish cinemas from 19th April.
