Interview – Alex Ross Perry talks about co-directing Rite Here Rite Now

For fans of the band, the lore featured in Ghost‘s new concert movie will be highly anticipated. The lore began in 2018, and fans throughout this period have watched the story of Papa Nihil and Cardinal Copia, who then became Papa Emeritus IV upon Papa Nihil’s death, unfold. Bringing this to life on the big screen was no small task.

I was lucky enough to see the film Rite Here Rite Now, and even for those who have never seen Ghost, this is a must-see film. I was then given the greatest opportunity to interview the co-director of the film, Alex Ross Perry, and ask him questions about his involvement with the band, how he became the co-director, and how he brought the wonder and magic of Ghost to the big screen.

It will come as no surprise that Alex started as a massive fan of Ghost and has used this love and ion to co-direct the best concert movie I have ever seen, leaving us with the ultimate cliff-hanger.

Rite Here Rite Now is in cinemas from June 20, 21, 22 & 23. Please check your local cinema listings to find your nearest screening  | Read our Review for Rite Here Rite Now
