In Wonder Woman 1984 New Trailer The World Is Not Ready

“Does Everyone Parachute now?” Behold Warner Bros have unleashed the long awaited New UK Trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 (aka WW 84) and it’s awesome!
Over in virtual world, Warner Bros is hosting DC FanDome celebrating all things DC . What better place to premiere the latest promo and confirm the film is coming to a cinema near you. With so many films now taking a digital or Streaming channel release, it’s great to see Warner have faith to showcase this on the big screen.
After the events of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman from World War One, we find ourselves in 1984. Diana is facing new challenges and new foes and Kristen Wiig‘s Barbara Ann Minerva aka Cheetah along with the villainous Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal). How Wiig becomes Cheetah we actually don’t know yet …
This trailer gives us a first look at Wonder Woman face cheetah teasing a little of her back story. That story reminds me a little of Jamie Foxx Mysterio origins in Spider-Man 2. Pascal’s Lord seems to another type of Lex Luthor business tycoon like an nefarious Tony Stark maybe even Donald Trump? The burning question is how does Chris Pine‘s Steve Trevor get to 1980’s without ageing? Love how he attempts to adapt to the decade? Or is there a twist about Steve?
Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing an all-new foe: The Cheetah. As previously announced, the film also stars Kristen Wiig in the role of the Super-Villain The Cheetah, as well as Pedro Pascal. Chris Pine also returns as Steve Trevor.
The cast includes Connie Nielsen, Gabriella Wilde, Kristoffer Polaha, Lyon Beckwith, Natasha Rothwell, Oakley Bull, and Robin Wright.
Wonder Woman 1984 will arrive in UK and Irish Cinemas from 2nd October.
