In The Many Saints of Newark First Trailer ‘He’s A Leader’
The First look At The Sopranos Film Prequel

Legends aren’t born. They’re made. This is a film many fans have been waiting for a long long time, The Many Saints of Newark, prequel to The Sopranos! Today Warner Bros have released the first (UK) Trailer for the film that will showcase the rise of Tony Soprano, the rise of a leader!
You don’t need anyone to tell you all about The Sopranos it was universally loved. I have to it I wasn’t an avid fan of the show, watching this trailer I might just have to. Michael Gandolfini is our young Tony and we find ourselves in 1960’s and fans will love the film will have other younger versions of series characters.
The film is set during the Soprano family’s tumultuous eras as chaos runs through Newark. At school Tony has been singled out as a very smart boy, showcasing leadership skills that will see him step into his fathers shoes.
From the reaction online for this trailer, Soprano fans are in heaven. We do see Tony’s uncle Dickie Moltisanti is the man who mentor him. Just a shame James Gandolfini is not around, I’m sure he would be proud.
Young Anthony Soprano is growing up in one of the most tumultuous eras in Newark’s history, becoming a man just as rival gangsters begin to rise up and challenge the all-powerful DiMeo crime family’s hold over the increasingly race-torn city. Caught up in the changing times is the uncle he idolizes, Dickie Moltisanti, who struggles to manage both his professional and personal responsibilities—and whose influence over his nephew will help make the impressionable teenager into the all-powerful mob boss we’ll later come to know: Tony Soprano.
The impressive cast includes Alessandro Nivola , Leslie Odom Jr., Jon Bernthal, Corey Stoll, Michael Gandolfini, Billy Magnussen, Michela De Rossi, John Magaro, Ray Liotta and Vera Farmiga.
The Many Saints of Newark will be released in the UK and Ireland in cinemas from 22nd October. However if you live in the USA you can watch the film on HBO Max or cinemas from 1st October.
