In New Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil Trailer Shows Her True Evil Self

After the success of 2014 film, it was no surprise this sequel was coming,question was when? This autumn we will see this long awaited follow up, as Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning return to reprise their roles.
It was hard to believe Maleficent would become a ‘motherly’ figure for Aurora. Her love awoke her from the spell but as this new promo showcases, it teases her hatred for Aurora too. The film promises to dig deeper into her back story as well as Aurora’s soon to be Mother-In-Law (Michelle Pfeiffer) pit herself against Maleficent.

“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” is a fantasy adventure that picks up several years after “Maleficent,” in which audiences learned of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora. The film continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within. The film is directed by Joachim Rønning from a story by Linda Woolverton and a screenplay by Linda Woolverton and Micah Fitzerman-Blue & Noah Harpster, the film is produced by Joe Roth, Angelina Jolie and Duncan Henderson with Matt Smith, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Michael Vieira serving as executive producers.
Returning cast includes Sam Riley (Diaval); Imelda Staunton (pixie Knotgrass); Juno Temple (pixie Thistlewit); and Lesley Manville (pixie Flittle).They will be ed by new cast that includes Michelle Pfeiffer as Queen Ingrith; Chiwetel Ejiofor; Ed Skrein; Robert Lindsay; and Harrison Dickinson as Prince Phillip.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will be released in the UK and Irish Cinemas from 18th October.
