Brie Larson has shown she is a ‘Marvel’ in the superhero arena in MCU. In Lessons In Chemistry she becomes a super television chef and Apple TV+ have released a second Trailer shows she has mastered the science of cooking.
eight-episode limited series is based on the best-selling novel from author, science editor and copywriter Bonnie Garmus of the same name. Larson plays Elizabeth Zoot who dreams of being a scientist in 1950. Due to the patriarchal nature of the time unable to follow her dream and becomes a Television chef. Teaching the housewives watching more than just recipes.
Perfect vehicle for the shows leading actor Larson, who has a lot to say on the issues the series covers…

Set in the early 1950s, “Lessons in Chemistry” follows Elizabeth Zott (played by Larson), whose dream of being a scientist is put on hold in a patriarchal society. When Elizabeth finds herself fired from her lab, she accepts a job as a host on a TV cooking show, and sets out to teach a nation of overlooked housewives – and the men who are suddenly listening – a lot more than recipes.
The series also stars Lewis Pullman, Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig, Patrick Walker, Thomas Mann, Kevin Sussman, and Beau Bridges.
Lessons In Chemistry now has a launch date on Apple TV+. The series will make its global debut on Friday, 13th October, here’s hoping it’s not ‘unlucky’.
