Hitchcock’s Psycho Returning To UK Cinemas In Glorious 4K!

Very few generations of cinephiles have had the fortune of seeing some the classic films when they were originally released in Cinemas. As the saying goes ‘got grab the bull by the horns’ and Park Circus are giving cinephiles that chance to see one of the greatest films Psycho on the big screen!

Newly restored in stunning 4K, Psycho is now available in its original uncut form with 13 seconds of additional footage – previously removed by censors on release. Alfred Hitchcock‘s chilling classic can now be seen as the legendary director intended.

The Bates Motel will open its doors once again from 27th May across the UK & Ireland, inviting a new generation of guests to enter one of cinema’s most iconic horror stories as Janet Leigh‘s embezzling secretary falls foul of Anthony Perkins‘ deranged hotelier.


Alfred Hitchcock’s landmark masterpiece of the macabre stars Anthony Perkins as the troubled Norman Bates, whose old dark house and ading motel are not the place to spend a quiet evening. No one knows that better than Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), the ill-fated traveller whose journey ends in the notorious “shower scene.” First a private detective, then Marion’s sister (Vera Miles) searches for her, the horror and the suspense mount to a horrifying climax where the mysterious killer is finally revealed.

the Master of Suspense, Alfred Hitchcock, on a chilling journey as an unsuspecting victim visits the Bates Motel and falls prey to one of cinema’s most notorious psychopaths – Norman Bates.

The cast also includes Vera Miles, John Gavin and Martin Balsam.

Psycho will return to UK and Irish cinemas nationwide from 27th May with a 4K restoration of the original theatrical cut. The film will screen in 100+ UK and Irish cinemas, including Vue, Odeon, Picturehouse and independent cinemas nationwide.
