No bones about Greta Gerwig‘s Barbie has been a global phenomenon and next week that box office smash hit arrives for purchase and rental Digitally at home “Hi Barbie!“.
The film stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken. Based on Mattel. Our titular character finds herself in the middle of an existential crisis when she realises there maybe a whole new world waiting outside her ‘perfect’ Barbie Land.
Barbie has taken the box office by storm, earning more than $1.345 billion worldwide to become the highest grossing film in Warner Bros.’ 100-year history; the highest-grossing film ever from a female filmmaker at the domestic box office; and is the largest film release of 2023 to date in the UK and Ireland, as well as worldwide.
