Has Second Gladiator 2 Trailer Unveil Lucius Parentage?

Paramount Pictures has released the second UK Trailer for Gladiator 2 and has this new promo unveil a big spoiler?

Read on with caution, however if you’ve seen the previous trailer you might already clicked what the big reveal might be. Be warned we will mention that reveal!

Ridley Scott‘s original film is possibly one his best entertaining films to date. Astonishing to think it’s 24 years old and now we’re getting the long awaited sequel. Is it one film many us expected or asked for? Hard to answer, some may say no as it’s too long since the original and interested has faded. Now that reveal, Spoiler time!

The first trailer was all about the carnage and that Rhino along with the sharks! This new trailer reveals Paul Mescal‘s Lucius father…Maximus! In the 2000 Gladiator we never truly learn who Lucius father was, many believing it was Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix) now we know it’s Russell Crowe’s Maximus.  All revealed to Lucius ahead of his battle in the arena and take strength from him.

The epic  battles are on show here again, will it be one of the Autumn must see films?
