Guillermo Del Toro Unleashes First Trailer For Frankenstein

During their recent Tudum event, Netflix unveiled the first trailer for Guillermo del Toro‘s adaptation of Frankenstein. This long-awaited adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic novel has been a childhood dream for the director.
The movie will follow the brilliant yet deranged scientist Victor Frankenstein, who brings a creature to life in an experiment that ultimately leads to the downfall of both the creator and his creation.
This project has been been on the Mexican filmmaker’s agenda for more than a decade. Fans of the Shelley’s iconic monster and Del Toro will be excited to know the end is nigh!
Oscar Isaac (Ex Machina) as the egotistical man, Mia Goth (X) as his fiancée and Jacob Elordi (Saltburn) as the titular monster.
The cast also includes the likes of Lars Mikkelsen (Ahsoka), David Bradley (Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio), Felix Kammerer (All Quiet on the Western Front), Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth), Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) and Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds).
