Greener Grass UK Trailer Takes You To The Weirdest Place On Earth

Greener Grass (2019)

Now this is one strange beast of a film and next month you can see Greener Grass yourselves. Today Bulldog Film Distribution have released the UK Trailer ahead of it’s release and it will take you to the weirdest place on earth!

Jocelyn DeBoer and Dawn Luebbe create (and star in) a hilariously deadpan hellscape of competitive suburbia. One that’s hard to describe other than it’s totally bonkers. The film premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival including the surprise film at Sundance London.

2019 has introduced some new faces of comedy, such as Jim Cummings (ironically in this!) and now DeBoer alongside Luebbe. The pair play Soccer Mums, best of friends who find themselves in a battle of wills. Which starts with one friend systematically taking over the other ones life.

Throw is kids turning into dogs, adults wearing braces, and everyone drives golf carts. This film comedic tone may not be for everyone, but think avant-garde humour directed by Wes Anderson mentored by David Lynch. Sounds nuts!? Potential cult film in the making? Possibly, it will test your curiosities…

The film is a hilariously deadpan hell-scape of competitive suburbia with a boldly stylised absurdist chain of events that unfurls with increasing fervour after one soccer mom gifts another her infant daughter just to be polite!

The film includes the US comedy talent of Beck Bennett (Saturday Night Live), Neil Casey (Ghostbusters), Mary Holland (Veep), D’Arcy Carden (The Good Place), Jim Cummings (Thunder Road) and Dot-Marie Jones (Glee).

Greener Grass will be released in Uk and Irish Cinemas, alongside On Demand from 22nd November.
