When it comes to Coen Brothers films all we have to do is name it and the sheepil will follow, today we get a look at new UK trailer  for Hail! Caesar  Josh Brolin attempts to ‘fix’ the problems Hollywood’s illumanti create. In the latest promo Ralph Feinnes educates a young actor on the etiquette of acting highlighting the brothers farcical brand of humour.

After last weeks exciting news that Hail! Caesar will make it’s UK premiere at Glasgow Film Festival next month we get another look at why we love love them and the difficulties of line reading, pay attention is complicated.

Hail! Caesar takes us back to the latter year Golden age of film, the 1950s. Eddie Mannix (Josh Brolin) is an old time studio fixer who ‘fixes’ those ‘problems’ keeping the acting fraternity out of scandals and press vulturous eyes. When superstar Brad Whitlock (George Clooney) is kidnapped by a group calling themselves The Future, Eddie is tasked to finding Brad and fixing those problems that come his way.

At the size and stature of film productions in film today it makes you wonder if much of the mayhem plagued the studios still actually happens. This trailer plays more like an extended scene showing Laurence Lorenz (Ralph Fiennes) attempts to instruct his movie’s leading man, Tobey (Alden Ehrenreich). Many directors might have struggled to make a straight forward scene into dead pan humorous, it just illustrates the talent of Joel and Ethan Coen have. Fiennes himself is another big highlight his timing in this clip/promo is second to none. Sometimes an actor not always related to comedy but after The Grand Budapest Hotel he can do anything that comes his way.

Sorry ladies Gorgeous George is no way to be seen in this trailer, but soon enough you’ll have plenty time to see your man on the big screen from 18th February. When the tickets for UK premier at Glasgow Film Festival go on sale (link to site)then Hail! Caesar goes on general UK release from 4th March. Co-starring Tilda Swinton, Channing Tatum, Scarlett Johansson, Jonah Hill and s McDormand.
