Out now from Plaion Pictures is buddy cop thriller First Shift starring Gino Anthony Pesi and Kristen Renton.

The film marks the return of German filmmaker Uwe Boll to directing. He is no stranger to controversy, energetic, ionate, knowledgeable, some say capable filmmaker.

First Shift is set in  New York,  which sees an old school cop (Pesi) is paired with a rookie cop (Renton)who spends all her time on social media. The pair attempt to get on together as they embark on a day on the streets.

I chatted to Uwe Boll recently about his new film and he always has a lot to say.
