First Look At David Fincher’s The Killer Watch Trailer!

Stick to your plan, trust no one. You can trust us when we tell you Netflix have released the first trailer for David Fincher‘s The Killer!
This film has been a long time coming, a lot has happened. One of those things that ‘happened’ is Netflix and thanks to the streaming giants this film has a home.
Like the rest of the opening dialogue of this trailer (and ending of this post), we never improvise, we anticipated and the anticipation for this one is indescribable.
The Killer is not based on the classic John Woo/ Chow Yun Fat Hong Kong Thriller. This is based on the graphic novel series “The Killer” written by Alexis Nolent (a.k.a Matz) and illustrated by Luc Jacamon, originally published in the French language by Editions Casterman.
Michael Fassbender is our mysterious assassin, whom after a near fateful miss finds himself up against his employers. His biggest enemy is himself.
We do love it when ion projects come to fruition, especially when they come from the man who gave us Se7en and Mank split cinephiles, The Killer however looks leaning towards vintage David Fincher, roll on Sunday!
After a fateful near-miss an assassin battles his employers, and himself, on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal.
The film also stars Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte, and Tilda Swinton. The Killer will be in select UK and Irish cinemas in October, then on 10th November globally on Netflix. Before then it will make it’s world premiere at Venice Film Festival on Sunday 3rd September.
