First Joker: Folie à Deux Trailer Is Ready To Dance!
He’s not alone anymore. Behold as Warner Bros Pictures release the first UK Trailer for Joker: Folie à Deux, Arthur and Harley are ready to dance!
Smile be happy, the much anticipated sequel to Todd Phillips 2019 original has took a step closer to it’s release. A step closer to it’s comic book roots with Lady Gaga on board as Harley Quinn, however this will be it’s own beast. Like the first film Joker: Folie à Deux will have it’s own timeline letting it be that psychological thriller musical. Hence why Lady Gaga probably got the nod as Harley to use her musical and acting chops.
How do they two lovebirds meet? Anyone who knows The Joker’s comic book roots, Quinn official name is Dr.Harleen Quinzel, Arthur’s psychologist. She would fall under his spell and quickly come his partner in crime. Hence Folie à Deux part of the film title a “delusion or mental illness shared by two people.
The d musical element originally surprised fans of the film, however Phillips has said this film won’t veer too much from the original. I’m sure for the next few months gossip will spread like wildfire, Warner Bros tease us even more. What we can say is we love what we’re seeing, smile be happy!
Still no official synopsis released for this, but we’re not surprised. Todd Phillips is one of those filmmakers who keeps his film’s plots a mystery until the last possible moment.
The rest of the cast includes Zazie Beetz, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, Steve Coogan, Ken Leung, and Harry Lawtey. Joker: Folie à Deux will be released in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas from 4th October.
