The Mist

When you look back at the endless numbers of Stephen King novels that have become movies or TV Shows, The Mist ending was one of the darkest endings. It was a movie you knew had a lot more to offer and this June that the world expands when a TV Show will premiere on Spike TV. To that release Spike TV have sent us the show’s first official trailer which teases us that this will no longer be set in just a Grocery store but several locations!

Faith, religion always seem to play a big part of King’s work and how taking a faith to judge all your actions to a dark side. The trailer does tease there will be a myriad of inexplicable and bizarre threats, however, the biggest threats could be the ones that test our own humanity.With IT, The Dark Tower alongside 1922, Castle Rock, Mr Mercedes all coming, 2017 you’ll find out why Stephen King is the most adapted writer in Film and Television history!

Based on a story by Stephen King, THE MIST has been re-imagined for television by Executive Producer and Writer Christian Torpe and produced for Spike by TWC-Dimension Television. Spike’s THE MIST centres around a small town family that is torn apart by a brutal crime. As they deal with the fallout eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world, and in some cases, each other. Family, friends and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.

THE MIST stars Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland, Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Okezie Morro, Luke Cosgrove, Darren Pettie, Russell Posner, Dan Butler, Isiah Washington, Jr. and s Conroy. The above trailer is for the American release which is 22nd June on Spike TV but as you may know, Spike is also in UK&Ireland now. No release date or if this will be on UK version of the channel too.
