Fates are shifting in the new second UK Trailer for The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. When fates of some of the blockbusters get delayed, Lionsgate Films still plug away with The Hunger Games Prequel for a November release.
The trailer teases the actual games is only the beginning, they’re to punish the districts. The film is based on Suzanne Collins The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes, 64 years prior the events of The Hunger Games movies. We follow a young Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth), his families last hope in post war Panem and becomes a mentor for the 10th Hunger Games. He is paired to mentor Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler) of District 12, working together to turn the odds in their favour.
Fans of the franchise will know Lucy and Katniss may look similar, they are not. Director Francis Lawrence stated that Katniss priority was more survival, Lucy is playing the game and knows what she is doing. What ever this actually looks pretty good…
