First The Fantastic Four: First Steps Trailer To Debut On Tuesday

The Fantastic Four return this summer

It seems we won’t have to wait much longer to get our first official glimpse of the hugely anticipated reboot of The Fantastic Four, with word from the US that the first trailer is set to debut this week.

With the Super Bowl happening this coming week, it’s customary for a trailer to be released during the match and then online afterward, but it seems Marvel and Disney are jumping ahead of the curve, with the first trailer set to be unveiled on “Good Morning America” instead. A press release seemed to have confirmed this but has since been deleted.

Many films are set to release trailers or spots during the match, including Marvel’s other big summer film, Thunderbolts*, as well as Jurassic Park: Rebirth, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, the new Smurfs film, Novocaine starring Jack Quaid, Disney’s live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch, Elio, Dreamworks’ live-action take on How To Train Your Dragon and horror sequel Megan 2.0. Of course, we are sure there will be surprises to come.

Directed by Matt Shakman (WandaVision), The Fantastic Four: Four Steps stars Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing) as the titular quartet.Julia Garner as The Silver Surfer/Shalla-Bal, Ralph Ineson as Galactus, John Malkovich, Paul Walter Ha, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles also co-star, with word that Robert Downey Jnr will also make his debut as Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom in the film, too.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set for release on July 25th.
