Evil is closer than you think in crime thriller Damaged starring Samuel L.Jackson. Signature Entertainment today have released the UK Trailer that heads to the streets of Edinburgh to catch the killer!

Back in 2023 we knew MCU/ Pulp Fiction star was spending sometime in Scotland. This is it, Terry McDonagh directs who has expansive experience in British and American television. He has directed the likes of Cold Feet, The Expanse, Killing Eve as well as Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

In Damaged, Jackson is Chicago Detective Dan Lawson who heads to Edinburgh to up with Detective Boyd (Gianni Capaldi). The pair heads after the resurgence of a serial killer from unresolved case back in the U.S.

Samuel L. Jackson hunts a hidden killer through the streets of Edinburgh in this nail-biting crime thriller. Dan Lawson, a Chicago detective, travels to Scotland to link up with Scottish Det. Boyd, following the resurgence of a serial killer who’s crimes match an unsolved case that he looked into 5 years previous in Chicago. Starring Samuel L. Jackson (The Marvels), Vincent Cassel (La haine), Gianni Capaldi (River Runs Red), Laura Haddock (Guardians of the Galaxy), John Hannah (Four Weddings and a Funeral) and Kate Dickie (Loki), Damaged is directed by Terry McDonough (The Expanse) from a script written by Paul Aniello (It’s Not Over), Koji Steven Sakai (The People I’ve Slept With) and Capaldi.

The film also stars Vincent Cassel, Laura Haddock, John Hannah and Kate Dickie. Damaged will be streaming on Prime Video in September, exact date still to be announced.
