terry_gilliam

For years he taught us the meaning of life in Monty Python and in his latest creation The Zero Theorem it’s the meaning of you!Behold the first trailer for Terry Gilliam’s The Zero Theorem.

The internet is going Comic Con crazy and rightly so yesterday and yesterday the film’s producers  Dean Zanuck, Zev Foreman, and Amy Gilliam to showcase the film’s first footage. It’s surreal but also a beautiful looking film , full of trademark Gilliam, plenty of 12 monkeys/ Brazil type dystopian eeriness which makes The Zero Theorem a very anticipated film.

The Zero Theorem stars a bald Christoph Waltz a mathematician genius Qohen Leth, a hacker searching for the mathematical meaning to life but his path is blocked by a shady figure from an Orwellian corporation.

When you watch the trailer you’ll notice that the trailer has an annoying trademark in the middle the screen as this is a leaked trailer which is meant to be for distributors eyes only, so If your  keen to see footage Ill watch now before the trailer is taken down. The Zero Theorem looks like that film Gilliam fans have been waiting for a long time, which seems to have been inspired  by all the best elements of his back catalogue and a great cast to back it up

The Zero Theorem doesn’t have a confirmed date for UK but we’re expecting the film to arrive late 2013, early 2014. The film also stars Mélanie ThierryDavid ThewlisPeter StormareTilda SwintonBen Whishaw and Matt Damon
