Emotions Clash In The Glass Castle UK Trailer

The Glass Castle

Been an interesting few years for Brie Larson  Kong Skull Island, and things look to be getting better for her. With her comic book stint Captain Marvel coming in 2019 her next movie The Glass Castle sees her work again with director Destin Daniel Cretton. The movie just recently was released in the US and today ahead of its UK release, Lionsgate Films release the UK trailer. On first impressions, this one looks a potential Oscar Bait movie, but is that a good thing? Emotions clash with Larson and Woody Harrelson in what looks a tense, poignant, but fun family drama

One thing we can say the family is family no matter how ‘straight up’ or ‘unique’ they maybe. We love them no matter and in The Glass Castle our protagonist family we could describe as dysfunctional, bohemian. They’re not a family that follows the so called ‘norm’, beatniks which make us think of Captain Fantastic. Families are strong but been vulnerable will to try new things only make you stronger. Cretton opened the door for Larson with Short Term 12, could this deliver more Oscar success?

Chronicling the adventures of an eccentric, resilient and tight-knit family, THE GLASS CASTLE is a remarkable story of unconditional love. Oscar® winner Brie Larson brings Jeannette Walls’s best-selling memoir to life as a young woman who, influenced by the joyfully wild nature of her deeply dysfunctional father (Woody Harrelson), found the fiery determination to carve out a successful life on her own .

The Glass Castle arrives in UK cinemas on Friday 6th October. The movie also stars Naomi Watts, Max Greenfield, Ian Armitage, and Sarah Snook.
