Elizabeth Moss ‘Has It All’ In Her Smell UK Trailer

Her Smell (2019)

We may see Elisabeth Moss fighting a totalitarian society in The Handmaid’s Tale. Next month she’ll channel Courtney Love as she self destructs in Her Smell.

Moss list of accolades impressive and endless. Everything from Top Of The Lake, Mad Men to more recently Us, now it’s full on Punk Angst.

Alex Ross Perry‘s (Listen Up Phillip, Queen Of Earth) film, sees Moss as Beck Something singer of a fictional Riot Grrl band Something She. She’s a leader, a mother but she’s an addict, a deadbeat on the verge of an mental breakdown. Becky has endless demons she must face especially she has a young daughter looking up to her.

We caught the film back in February when the film made it’s UK Premiere at Glasgow Film Festival. Moss performance was certainly a highlight of the film and personally the music too been I was a teen in the 90’s. That six months ago things went quiet until now, and Signature Entertainment have now released the UK Trailer.

A truly claustrophobic, tense and emotional release…

HER SMELL is a fearless punk epic deeply rooted in the 90’s rock scene and boasting a tour-de-force performance from Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale).

Becky Something (Moss) is a rock superstar who once filled arenas with her band Something She. When her excesses derail a national tour, she’s forced to retreat from the spotlight, temper her demons and reckon with her past while recapturing the inspiration that led her band to success. Featuring an all-star cast, including Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad), Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey), Amber Heard (Aquaman), Her Smell is a relentless and irreverent tour de force.

The film also stars Cara Delevingne, Dan Stevens, Agyness Deyn, Amber Heard, Gayle Rankin, Ashley Benson, Dylan Gelula, Virginia Madsen and Eric Stoltz.

Her Smell will be released in the UK and Ireland on Digital HD from 9th September.
