Do You Have A Good Side? New End Of Watch Trailer Intensifies Anticipation

Joe Carnahan’s The Grey is a perfect example not judging a film by the quality of the directors previous work, as we know it surprised us all, you could say the same about David Ayer‘s new film End Of Watch and today we have a new trailer. What the new trailer does is focus on Michael Pena‘s character, his Spanish roots and we get a better look the relationship between Zavala (Pena) and his partner Taylor (Jake Gyllenhaal). End Of Watch does look potentially Ayers most compelling work and though the hand held camera style is feeling a little tired with its endless use in Paranormal activity rip offs, the style does seem to intensify the action. If he can stay away from the generic police thriller End Of Watch could be the directors best film to date.

End of Watch will arrive in UK&Ireland November 23rd, but the film will first appear next month at Toronto Film festival then released in USA September 21st. The film also stars Anna Kendrick, Natalie Martinez, Frank Grillo, America Ferrera, Cody Horn, and David Harbour.

A powerful story of family, friendship, love, honor and courage, End Of Watch stars Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña as young Los Angeles police officers Taylor and Zavala as they patrol the city’s meanest streets of south central Los Angeles.

Giving the story a gripping, first-person immediacy, the action unfolds entirely through footage from the handheld HD cameras of the police officers, gang , surveillance cameras, and citizens caught in the line of fire to create a riveting portrait of the city’s darkest, most violent corners, the cops who risk their lives there every day, and the price they and their families are forced to pay.
