Disney Delay The King’s Man Release Date To 2021

This news does not surprise us at all, news is breaking that Disney are delaying frog Matthew Vaughn‘s The Kings Man as the Corona virus pandemic continues to impact the world.
Cinema maybe re-opening slowly around the world , but for many it’s still too soon. The film has been subject to delays when 20th Century Studios originally set for an November 2019 release. That moved to Valentine’s Day 14th February 2020, not due to Covid-19 the next delay to 16th September , next month was.
It seems the new date will be 26th February 2021 and with very little promotion, we’re not surprised things are changing. After the debacle with Mulan, alarms maybe raised if Disney are also planning to move the film to Disney+. Highly unlikely as this film is no way family friendly , Mulan is and Disney’s main focus is their films to head to the big screen overall. Could Black Widow be the next PVOD film heading to the channel in October especially when there’s been no promotion recently?
There is also the small matter of a certain Christopher Nolan Film, Tenet. It maybe opened here in the UK, however it’s set to be opened in the US in September with the film expected to dominate the box office.
The King’s Man we will explore the origins of The Kingsman agency, with Ralph Feinnes and Harris Dickinson in the lead roles of Master and student. We find ourselves early 20th Century and 1900’s and the World War One as a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. The cast also includes Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Daniel Brühl, with Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.
