Denzel Washington’s A Journal For Jordan Gets A Final UK Trailer

After several action packed thrillers and dramas, Michael B.Jordan is now able to deliver his romantic side with A Journal For Jordan. Today Sony Pictures Releasing have debuted the romantic drama’s final UK Trailer, it may not have the action, however it promises to give your heart strings a work out.

The film is directed by none other than Denzel Washington, directing his fourth feature. The film is based on the true story of a soldier (Jordan) who is deployed to Iraq. He decides to create a journal for his newly born infant son full of love and advice, sadly he is killed. As for the journal that was completed before his death.

The first trailer wasn’t the strongest or could say best ment for the film. It gave you the impression this was just a TV film rather than a cinematic film. That doesn’t mean to say this won’t be any good and this new trailer does give a far better impression of the film. Love your tearjerkers this film might just be for you.

Directed by Denzel Washington and starring Michael B. Jordan with a screenplay by Virgil Williams, A JOURNAL FOR JORDAN is based on the true story of Sergeant Charles Monroe King (Jordan), a soldier deployed to Iraq who begins to keep a journal of love and advice for his infant son. Back at home, senior New York Times editor Dana Canedy (Chanté Adams) revisits the story of her unlikely, life-altering relationship with King and his enduring devotion to her and their child. A sweeping of a once-in-a-lifetime love, the film is a powerful reminder of the importance of family and the all-too-human cost of war.

The film also stars Chante Adams, Tamara Tunie, Robert Wisdom, Vanessa Aspillaga, and Jalon Christian.

A Journal For Jordan will be released in UK and Irish cinema from  21st January 2022.If you live in the U.S you can watch the film on Christmas Day.
