Deadpool & Wolverine Make it 4 In A Row On Official Film Chart

Happy Halloween! No one is ‘spooked’ that Deadpool & Wolverine retains its reign over the Official Film Chart for a fourth consecutive week.

The Marvel Comics superhero blockbuster, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, denies a host of Halloween entries of the top spot as the spookiest day in the calendar approaches.

This week’s highest new entry comes courtesy of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2), starring Michael Keaton (Beetlejuice), Winona Ryder (Lydia Deetz) and Jenna Ortega (Astrid Deetz). With three generations of the Deetz family returning home to Winter River, things are flipped upside down as Lydia’s daughter Astrid opens a portal to the Afterlife.

Justin Baldoni-directed drama It Ends With Us, starring Blake Lively and Baldoni himself, is a brand-new entry at Number 3 this week. The film chronicles a former love of Lily Bloom’s (Lively) re-entering her life, and the decisions she must make as their relationship turns violent.

And, with spooky season in full swing, three more Halloween movies rebound up the Top 10; Longlegs (7), Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (8) and Practical Magic (9).
