Colin Farrell Is Los Angeles PI In Noir Series Sugar Trailer

Irish actor Colin Farrell has been many things throughout his career, next month he will be Private Investigator in Sugar. Today Apple TV+ unearth the series official Trailer, Los Angeles. Private investigator. Missing person. Mystery person.
The streaming channel promise the eight part series will be “contemporary, unique take on one of the most popular and significant genres in literary”. It looks Noir genre will inspire Sugar especially, we also get a feel of the tone and the Jazzy soundtrack. John’s first case is a missing person and I think we can say, things will get very violent. City Of God director Fernando Meirelles directs this series and expect him to face some tough subjects.
“Sugar” is a contemporary, unique take on one of the most popular and significant genres in literary, motion picture and television history: the private detective story. Academy Award nominee Colin Farrell stars as John Sugar, an American private investigator on the heels of the mysterious disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the beloved granddaughter of legendary Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As Sugar tries to determine what happened to Olivia, he will also unearth Siegel family secrets; some very recent, others long-buried.
The series also stars Kirby, Amy Ryan, Dennis Boutsikaris, Nate Corddry, Alex Hernandez, and James Cromwell. Sugar will premiere on Apple TV+ with two episodes from 5th April, with a new episode every Friday.
