Christopher Robin New Trailer Will Warm Your Heart

CHRISTOPHER ROBIN(2018)

Been a mixed bag of emotions for Disney in 2018 with the Success of Avengers: Infinity War and the downward spiral of Solo: A Star Wars Story. For their next film, they will go back to their roots with Christopher Robin.

The story of the boy who shared his countless adventures with his favourite stuffed toy animals. Now the boy is a man and the man has lost his way. Ewan McGregor is Christopher as a man and today we get a look at the film’s second UK Trailer. A film that looks to warm your heart as well as give your waterworks a good workout…

There seems to be more realistic to this story than we think. AA Milne the creator of Winnie The Pooh, suffered PTSD badly due to his time in World War One. The trailer plays on the joyous reunite between Pooh and Christopher rather than the dramatic side of the story. This looks very soulful film that attempts to find that thing that disappears when we grow up.

In the heartwarming live action adventure Disney’s Christopher Robin, the young boy who shared countless adventures with his band of lovable stuffed animals in the Hundred Acre Wood is now grown up and living in London but he has lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin rediscover the joys of family life, the value of friendship and to appreciate the simple pleasures in life once again.

The film stars Ewan McGregor as Christopher Robin; Hayley Atwell as his wife Evelyn; Bronte Carmichael as his daughter Madeline; and Mark Gatiss as Giles Winslow, Robin’s boss. The film also features the voices of Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger; Brad Garrett as Eeyore; Toby Jones as Owl; Nick Mohammed as Piglet; Peter Capaldi as Rabbit; and Sophie Okonedo as Kanga. World War Z director Marc Forster directs.
