After last month’s teaser trailer, this afternoon Amazon have released the full Trailer for The Tomorrow War.

The film is the live action directorial feature from The Batman Lego Movie director, Chris McKayChris Pratt stars as  Dan Forester  a school teacher and family man drafted in a war in the future with mysterious aliens who want to eradicate humanity.

The teaser gave little glimpses what we might see but not enough to give any judgement. The new trailer is the full version and we get better look at the conflict that forces our heroes travel into the future. We also get a better look at Dan’s family life and why he enrolled for the fight, his daughter’s future.

If you are hoping for a sneak peek at the alien invaders, you will be disappointed. So far so good or do we need more to say this one is any good?

In The Tomorrow War, the world is stunned when a group of time travellers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet.

The film also stars Yvonne Strahovski, J.K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, Edwin Hodge, Jasmine Mathews, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, and Keith Powers.

The Tomorrow War will be exclusively released on Amazon Prime Video from 2nd July.
