Chase Storms In UK Trailer For Thriller Supercell

Vertigo Releasing have released the UK Trailer for indie thriller Supercell, starring Daniel Diemer, Richard Gunn and Skeet Ulrich.

The film marks Herbert James Winterstern’s directorial feature debut. The film also stars Anne Heche in one of her final films, who sadly died in a car crash late last year.

The film tells the story of William (Diemer), son of legendary storm chaser Bill Brody (Gunn), lost his father to a tornado as a child. Now a teenager searching for his identity, he runs away to follow in his dad’s footsteps…

There is a Amblin Entertainment vibe emanating off this film. Amblin are no strangers to storm chasing films with Twister (1996), not forgetting they gave us E.T, Jurassic Park to name a few! How good this will be , only time will tell…

On his journey, William finds his family name plastered all over a storm-chasing tour company that is using his father’s legacy to line their pockets.

The man in charge is the greedy & reckless Zane Rogers (Alec Baldwin), who uses William as the main attraction to lead groups of unsuspecting adventurers dangerously close to the storms. Roy, Willam’s father’s old partner, tries to keep him out of harm’s way as his mother and girlfriend race to find him and bring him home, but mother nature has other plans…

The film also stars Jordan Kristine Seamón, Anjul Nigam, and Alec Baldwin. Vertigo Releasing will release Supercell in the UK and Ireland on Digital from 12th June.
