Buckle Up! First Look At James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad!

‘Boom!’  DC FanDome is the gift that keeps giving. A couple of hours ago we got a new Trailer for Wonder Woman 1984, now it’s a first look at The Suicide Squad!

James Gunn the man behind the success of The Guardians Of The Galaxy, is now working in DCEU hoping to reinvigorate DC’s band of antiheroes. Can he do it? Big possibility as no one expected the Guardians success, so we’re eager to see what he’ll do. The 2017 film was a flawed film that worked in some places, sadly the rest failed miserably

Below we have a Behind The Scenes/First Look Featurette which gives us tasters in what to expect. Gunn himself and some of the cast share their thoughts and excitement on the film. The promo does give us glimpses of some of the new characters.

We know Margot Robbie will be returning alongside Jai Courtney and Joel Kinnaman. They will be ed by a whole host of new cast which you’ll see in the second Promo ‘Roll Call’. The Teaser doesn’t reveal any footage just reveals the cast.

The rest of the new cast includes..Idris Elba,  John Cena,  Michael Rooker, Flula Borg, Daniela Melchior, Steve Agee, David Dastmalchian, Mayling Ng, Peter Capaldi, Alice Braga, Pete Davidson, Sean Gunn, Storm Reid, Nathan Fillion, Joaquín Cosío, Juan Diego Botto, and Taika Waititi.

There is no official synopsis released just yet. Not sure If Gunn plays the Nolan or JJ Abrams keeping things closed to his chest. The Suicide Squad isn’t expected until Summer 2021, US release seems to be August 2021, for the UK it’s ‘Coming Soon’.
