Ariana Grande set for Meet The Parents 4

Wicked star Ariana Grande has secured her next big role with Deadline reporting that the actor has ed the ever-growing cast of Meet The Parents 4 film, set for release next Christmas.

Universal Pictures, who distributed Wicked and its sequel Wicked: For Good, will distribute Meet The Parents 4 with the Oscar nominee ing the cast that includes the returning quadruple of Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Teri Polo and Blythe Danner, who have starred in all of the films up to this point. No word yet on if the other Fockers – namely, Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand – will return.

John Hamberg, who worked with Stiller on Along Came Polly as well as co-writing the first three films, will produce and direct the fourth, taking over from previous directors Jay Roach and Paul Weitz. Rumours have swirled about what the new film will be about, but The Hollywood Reporter suggests that ” one point revolves around the son of Stiller and Polo’s characters, who gets engaged to a ball-busting woman who seems all wrong for him. Sources say Ariana Grande will play the fiancée.”

Jane Rosenthal and De Niro will produce through their Tribeca Productions, with Roach producing through Delirious Media and Stiller and John Lesher producing through Red Hour Films.

The franchise has been a huge success over the last two decades: the first film, released in 2000, grossed over $ 330 million worldwide, while the sequel, 2004’s Meet the Fockers, was an even bigger success, grossing $522 million worldwide. Little Fockers, the third film released in 2010, grossed $310.7 million but wasn’t as well received critically, with a 9% Rotten Tomatoes score. For those keeping count, that’s a global take of over $1.13 billion for the franchise.

Meet the Parents 4 is set for release on November 25th, 2026.
