Apple TV+ The Studio Lands A Second Season
Kool Aid at the ready as Matt Remick will be looking for another tentpole film, as Apple TV+ renew The Studio for a second season!
Seth Rogen will be returning as Remick for another season. The news comes ahead of the current season finale which is set to premiere on the channel on 21st May. Cinephiles do love the Hollywood insider satire scoring a ‘hit’ for Continental Studios!
Rogen who co-created the series with Evan Goldberg commented on the news “We’re thrilled to be making a second season of ‘The Studio.’ We’re looking forward to taking the lived experience of making season one and immediately putting it into season two, then repeating that loop for ten more seasons.”
The Studio follow Matt Remick (Rogen) who is a Studio executive trying to keep a struggling Hollywood studio opened. Clashing between the actors, the directors as well as the Studio overlords and his own insecurities.
Our writer Emlyn Roberts-Harry watched and reviewed the series for The Peoples Movies. Emlyn described the series as “a funny, episodic sitcom. It dresses itself up like the movies it’s about, but when it comes down to it, it knows it’s a TV comedy – and it’s a damn good TV comedy“.
