Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively Reunite For ‘Another Simple Favour’ Trailer
Prime Video has released the stylishly unhinged first teaser trailer for Another Simple Favour, which you can watch below.
The trailer opens with Stephanie Smothers’ (Blake Lively) who has a request for another simple favour – Will she be her maid of honour? Given the last film ended with Emily being sent to prison for murder, this simple favour is likely to open the door to more even mystery and mayhem.
Paul Feig returns to direct the sequel to his 2018 film A Simple Favour. The official synopsis is as follows: Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) reunite on the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman. Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square.
The sequel also sees the return of Andrew Rannells, Henry Goldin, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho, and Kelly McCormack, reprising their roles from the first film. This time around they’re ed by Elizabeth Perkins, Michele Morrone, Alex Newell, Elena Sofia Ricci, and Allison Janney.
Another Simple Favour will premiere at SXSW Festival in March before arriving on Prime Video on May 1st.
