Second American Trailer For The Woman In The Black

As USA approaches there thanksgiving holiday weekend CBS Films have released a new American trailer for The Woman In The Black starring Daniel Radcliffe in his first post Harry Potter Role. Like the previous trailers (international ones included) the new 1 minute 11 second trailer doesn’t disappoint plus there’s plenty of new footage to keep the spook levels very high.My only concern now is we’ve had 4 or 5 trailers all containing new footage and with 3 and half months to go until the films release in February this could go into spoiler overkill and ruin the anticipation of this film when the time finally comes around to enjoy it. You could look at the number of trailers at several ways Momentum Pictures/Hammer Films (UK Distributors), CBS are trying to prove this film is very scary (which they have already proven), Daniel Radcliffe can act outside Harry Potter or its another case fantastic trailer terrible film hopefully not the latter.

Ciaran Hinds, Liz White, Janet McTeer, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire and Lucy May Barker all star in this spooktastic film which will arrive in UK&Ireland on February 10th 2012(3rd USA).

Based on the classic ghost story, THE WOMAN IN BLACK tells the tale of Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), a lawyer who is forced to leave his young son and travel to a remote village to attend to the affairs of the recently deceased owner of Eel Marsh House.Working alone in the old mansion, Kipps begins to uncover the town’s tragic and tortured secrets and his fears escalate when he discovers that local children have been disappearing under mysterious circumstances. When those closest to him become threatened by the vengeful woman in black, Kipps must find a way to break the cycle of terror.
