On Earth Everyone Can Hear You Scream In Teaser Trailer For Alien: Earth

The Earth cracks after an alien attack

The first teaser trailer has been released for Hulu’s highly-anticipated series Alien: Earth, which is launching this summer on the streaming service. as well as a new poster for the show.

The TV spot doesn’t show too much of the series itself, but it does show what we believe to be a POV sequence from a Xenomorph as it crawls around the walls of a spacecraft whilst the ship’s alarm system goes haywire after what we can assume was an alien attack onboard. The ship seems destined to crash given how out of control it is, and the camera then looks out of the window to show that it is hurtling towards Earth with Jerry Goldsmith’s classic score playing underneath.

The series, set two years before Ridley Scott’s 1979 original, has been mooted for a while by Noah Hawley, creator of Fargo and Legion. In the show, A young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery – a mysterious space vessel –  that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat. As of the crash recovery crew search for survivors in the wreckage, they encounter mysterious, predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined. With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival, and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it.

Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Adrian Edmondson, Kit Young, Adarsh Gourav, David Rysdahl, Babou Ceesay, Lily Newmark, Sandra Yi Sencindiver and Moe Bar-El co-star in the series.

It follows on the heels of last summer’s hit sequel/prequel Alien: Romulus – directed by Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead) and starring Cailee Spaney and David Jonsson, the film grossed over $350million worldwide.

Alien: Earth streams on Hulu and Disney+ this summer.
