Every major metropolis in the world has it’s two sides, one you want the public to see the other you rather not. Today Dazzler Media have released the UK Trailer for Love Girls And Love Hotels, and Alexandra Daddario is lost in the sleazy neon lights of Tokyo’s nightlife.

The film is based on Catherine Hanrahan‘s book of the same name described as a intoxicating journey of love, lust, and rebirth. The film is based around Hanrahan’s time as a English teacher in the city and Daaddario plays an American woman who works and live in Tokyo as an English teacher. She wants to forget her past and drifts around the dangerous nightlife of the city. Her path cross with an mysterious Yakuza (Takehiro Hira) changing both their lives.

This looks a raw, intimate look at human fragility…

Haunted by her past, Margaret has relocated to Tokyo, teaching English by day and losing herself in anonymous sexual encounters at the city’s infamous love hotels by night. After an unexpected encounter, she begins a tumultuous affair with Kazu, a Yakuza gangster. Spiralling out of control, she is on a collision course with a malevolent figure who picks her up and offers to take her to a love hotel. Alone and in danger, Margaret has a decision to make. Will Kazu come to her rescue or will she finally save herself?

Powerful, atmospheric and highly charged, Lost Girls and Love Hotels stars Alexandra Daddario (We Summon the Darkness, Percy Jackson franchise) and Takehiro Hira (Snake Eyes, Giri/Haji). The film is adapted from the acclaimed novel by Catherine Hanrahan and directed by William Olsson (An American Affair).

The film also stars Carice van Houten, Misuzu Kanno, and Kate Easton.

Dazzler Media presents Lost Girls and Love Hotels  will be released on DVD and Digital in the UK &Ireland from 8th February.
