Aaron Taylor Johnson Is Kraven The Hunter Watch First Trailer

Villains aren’t born, they’re made. Sony Pictures has released the first UK Trailer for Kraven The Hunter and Aaron-Taylor Johnson is out for blood!

The film marks the latest Spiderman spin-off film from Marvel character Sony side of Marvel characters. Morbius are the others, both films with not the best returns critically, could this be the exception?

The film is directed by J.C Chandor who gave us All Is Lost, Tiple Frontier and A Most Violent Year. Next to Taylor-Johnson as our titular character is Russell Crowe as Kraven’s father, Fred Hechinger as Chameleon, Kraven’s Half-brother. They are ed by Ariana DeBose as Calypso, Alessandro Nivola as The Rhino and Christopher Abbott rumoured to be the film’s main villain The Foreigner.

Kraven The Hunter first made his Marvel comics appearance in The Amazing Spiderman #15 (1964). He is one of Spiderman’s great foes considered one of Earth’s greatest hunters. Once you’re on his list, there is only one way of that list and that is death. This film looks to be also inspired by The Most Dangerous Game story.

This film showcases how he arrived in the U.S and mission to earn his greatest ever title, with a few daddy issue thrown in. The previous mentioned spin-off films took the slightly edgier approach. This looks to go one further, brutal, a little gory, certainly more violent!

Kraven the Hunter is the visceral story about how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be. Set before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man, Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as the titular character in the R-rated film.

Kraven The Hunter will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 6th October.
