A Penny for Luck for Unlucky Woman? Watch Trailer

Sometimes I think Robert Palmer‘s ‘Some Guys Have All The Luck‘ is my theme tune. In Apple TV‘s Luck a young woman gets some much welcomed ‘luck’. But what luck will she get?

Sam (Eva Noblezada ) is the unluckiest girl  in the world who stumbles into the Luck Centre. A  mysteriously magical world that promises to bring her some luck in her life. The luck comes with help with magical creatures, for Sam that creature comes in the shape of black cat Bob.

Compared to the Teaser Trailer, we get introduced to some more characters. Most of all we get introduced to Sam’s world and a taster of her bad luck. Peggy Holmes made her name as a cinematographer (Hocus Pocus), this is her second directorial feature. Are some of us just have plain bad luck or is it all a coincidence? Loving the world building , here’s hoping it’s a fun adventure!

From Apple Original Films and Skydance Animation comes the story of Sam Greenfield, the unluckiest person in the world, who when she stumbles into the never-before-seen Land of Luck, sets out on a quest to bring some good luck home for her best friend. But with humans not allowed, her only chance is teaming up with the magical creatures who live there to do it.

The voice cast includes Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Noblezada, Simon Pegg, Flula Borg, Lil Rel Howery, Colin O’Donoghue, John Ratzenberger, and Adelynn Spoon.

Apple TV+ will premiere Luck globally from 5th August.
