A Big Bold Beautiful Journey Teaser; Full Trailer Next Week

Sony Pictures has unveiled the first teaser for their drama, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, with the full trailer set for release early next week. (via The Playlist)

The latest film from Kogonada, the acclaimed director of Columbus and After Yang, as well as Apple TV+’s Pachinko series, is set for release later this year, with the film getting early buzz for awards season. Indeed, it has been pushed back from its initial release, which was due in May.

The teaser for the trailer is very short and doesn’t show us a lot, but even in its small dose, it tells us to keep an eye out for this one. Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell lead the film as “two strangers who meet at a wedding and embark on an adventure together: one that may involve time travel.” Seth Reiss wrote the script.

The film sees Farrell reteam with the director after their work on After Yang, and co-stars Jodie Turner-Smith (who also starred in Yang), Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Billy Magnussen, Sarah Gadon, Lily Rabe, Brandon Parea, Chloe East, Hamish Linklater, and more. Genuinely, one of our most anticipated films of the fall, this one.

Farrell and Robbie may have a busy awards season, with both actors having other films released later this year that could be in the mix: Robbie co-stars with Jacob Elordi in Emerald Fennell’s remake of Wuthering Heights, due early in 2026; whilst Farrell co-stars with Tilda Swinton in buzzy title The Ballad of a Small Player, directed by Conclave helmer Edward Berger.
