31 Days Of Horror (Day 22) – 30 Days Of Night (

30 days of night is a 2007 vampire horror film starring Melissa George (Amityville Horror) and Josh Hartnett (The Faculty,Halloween H20: 20 Years Later , Penny Dreadful). This is exactly the kind of vampire film you need to watch at Halloween, Forget that twilight nonsense and watch this fantastic gore packed thrill ride.
When a small Alaskan Town is plunged into darkness it falls under stack by bloodthirsty vampires. The only way to get rid of them is for the sun to come up, but that won’t be until the end of the month.
30 days Of Night is, in my opinion, a unique take on the vampire genre. It is full of action and adventure and is truly a remarkable achievement in the vampire genre.
This film was always one I was excited to see. I have been a fan of Hartnett and George for many years and seeing them in this film together was great they were both brilliant in their roles.
All you gore hounds out there will love this film as it has a fair load of blood and guts to get you going this Halloween season. I am not one that can handle too much gore, and found myself looking away at scene sin this film. It was not shy on the blood.
I just totally fell hard for this film it is a wonderful example of a vampire film done right. The vampires were so creepy and the film overall was genuinely spine-chilling to watch.
There was never a dry moment in the film, which is good as the film runs for almost 2 hours. The pacing ad the action was on point and was fast and always has you on your toes.
I think if you are a fan of the vampire genre and a gore nut then you will ha a blast with this epic horror film.
This is a must watch film for me and will be one I watch year after year and I know after you have seen 30 Days Of Night once you will certainly agree.
