Benicio del Toro and Mia Threapleton star in The Phoenician Scheme

In just over a months time the Cannes Film Festival will kick-off with it’s 78th edition. Today the festival unveiled it’s 2025 line-up with Hollywood coming to town with a ‘glamourous’ line-up.

From the 13th until 25th May, Wes Anderson, Ari Aster, Spike Lee, Julia Ducournau, Joachim Trier  will premiere their latest films. The Croisette will also be the place to catch Scarlett Johansson and Harris Dickinson‘s directorial feature debuts.  With Eleanor The Great (Johansson) starring June Squibb, Chiwetel Ejiofor  and Urchin (Dickinson) starring Frank Dillane and Amr Waked.

Cannes Film Festival will also welcome back Tom Cruise and Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning. After 3 previous visits and 30 years of action, perfect place to end the long running franchise.

This year’s festival will open with Amélie Bonnin‘s Partir un jour (Leaving One Day).
